Writing Challenge #1: The 'Lucky' Pen
When it comes to writing, the pen is the most vital weapon.
Its relationship is that of a sword to a knight.
You can use it to battle your enemies.

And you can sway the heart of lovers.
You can influence another person…
That other person can convince many others…
Many others can change a town…
That town can reshape the nation…
And that nation…
can change the world almost overnight.
But what would make a pen so ‘lucky’?
Could it be the way that it spills the ink flowing from its tip?
or
Is it the perception of what the pen represents?
In this case… It’s both.
Combined with a natural knack for writing…
Your words shall bend others to your will.
But it matters most when you’re in that ‘flow’ state.
So, how does one get to be in that flow state?
Do you need to chant ‘OHM’ while levitating with crystals around you?
No…
Does one need to be a master already to automatically turn it on?
Also, no.
So what is it?
It’s simple, my dear Wattson…
In fact, so simple that you might assume I’m lying straight to your face…
The answer is to just have fun while writing.
Ever hear of the expression ‘Time flies when you’re having fun’?
It’s the same concept.
Being in that state of pure bliss and enjoyment unlocks that creativity.
The pen illustrated above shows you that you CAN have fun and write at the same time.
Not only that, but the luck of the Irish is also on your side.
And not just because it’s a leprechaun…
But it embodies the writer’s soul.
Taking on your personality and putting it to paper.
Helping you write gold instead of searching for a black cauldron filled with coins at the end of the rainbow.
What sounds more likely to happen?
You writing for a client and getting those boo-koo bucks?
Or following a rainbow to the end, hoping for a short red-haired man sitting on a pot of gold to give you a few shillings?
My money is on the writer.
While this pen was forged, it became more articulate in terms of its mechanics.
Allowing you to box those negative and intrusive thoughts right out of you.
And with its piercing emerald, green eyes…
You can see the determination it brings.
The pen screams out to you, ready to tackle any writing project.
But that’s not the best part.
When it comes to the senses, touch is most vital.
While you’re writing…
You’ll feel the comforting weight and balanced distribution that help your calligraphy seem like it’s flowing naturally.
Giving you that ‘Michael Angelo’ artistic feel to your words.
Making you an artist with a pen instead of a brush.
So, when it comes to writing, think carefully about which pen your grab.
The basic BIC pens don’t cut it anymore…
Unless you don’t care what, your signature or writing looks like…
In this case, almost everyone looks at your handwriting as if it shares your personality.
Writing with this pen redefines your writing style, puts you in that flow state, and keeps you locked in even while fiddling with the levers on the back.
So, the first challenge is done…
It wasn’t so hard.
Definitely made me think outside of the box when it comes to talking about a random object.
